DM Design do not use standard sizes of units, we customise our fitted kitchens to match our customer’s individual needs. We can therefore tailor many of our ranges to suit the many specific individual fitted kitchen furniture requirements of disabled customers.

Disability Fitted Kitchen Furniture

HEIGHT – We can manufacture special height cabinets, shelving, drawer units, worktops, hobs, and appliance housings to suit.

LAYOUT – We understand that kitchens for wheelchair users have to be accessible, so where you need the space, we can create a design to match your needs. We offer solutions from pull out wirework storage (no more reaching into the back of cupboards), to pull out ironing boards, kitchen units with knee-space for easy access to worktops and many more.

CHOICE – Some finishes, such as solid timber doors, are unfortunately not adjustable. However many of our most popular door finishes and ranges are available at custom sizes. A designer can show you the full selection. We believe that a kitchen tailored for the needs of those with disabilities does not need to lose any of its aesthetic quality, and great care is taken, as always, to provide the right blend of layout, finish and accessories to create your ideal room.
