DM Design and “60 Minute makeover”
DM Design have been working with another TV makeover show “60 Minute makeover”, helping out with some bedroom furniture and fitting. Here’s our guys in action!

		May 2009 KIM & AGGIE call in DM DESIGN! DM Design assisted Kim Woodburn and Aggie Mackenzie– the nation’s Cleaning Queens - last week in transforming the home of another housework-phobic member of the public! Their target was a gentleman from Glasgow. His housekeeping sins included a house covered in Scalextric models. He also had kitchen units which had fallen off the wall, so he had just left them lying where they fell!
Kim and Aggie wanted to show him how to de-clutter and manage the mess, so they called in DM Design for a storage solution. We fitted him a brand new kitchen unit last week. Look out for the new series being broadcast on Channel Four where you’ll see our fitting team helping out the lovely Kim & Aggie! (I don’t think they wore such stylish gloves though)

Important - Gas Safety!

DM DESIGN is now listed on the new Gas Safe Register, which replaces the CORGI gas register as Great Britain’s gas safety body. From 1 April, CORGI gas registration will no longer be valid, and from then, the public must always use a Gas Safe registered engineer for all gas work at home. All Gas Safe registered engineers carry a Gas Safe Register ID card with their own unique licence number, detailing the work they are qualified to do, such as installation or servicing of pipe work, gas cookers, central heating, boilers or gas fires. Gas Safe Register recommends that the public always check the card.

Ian Gatensby from DM Design said: “We welcome the new Gas Safe Register. It is vital for the public to know they must use a Gas Safe registered engineer. You can rest assured that DM Design 59591 is on the new Register and legal to do your work.”

Peter Eldridge, Chief Executive, Gas Safe Register said: “Keeping the public safe is Gas Safe Register’s top priority. If someone other than a Gas Safe registered engineer carries out gas work at your home, you could be risking the safety of your family and your property.” Incorrectly fitted, badly repaired or poorly maintained gas appliances can lead to gas leaks causing fire and explosions. It can also lead to the release of highly poisonous and deadly carbon monoxide (CO).
